So during these holidays I have been ABSOLUTELY bored as beans! With all this time on my hands and stumbling upon some awesome material in my fabric box, I made a backpack in preparation for uni (because carrying my school backpack would have been the worst)
These are all the materials:
- Sturdy patterned cotton (roughly the strength of denim)
- Green cotton fabric
- Medium weight interfacing
- Plastic sheet (extra strength for bottom of bag)
- Green bias tape
- Piping cord
- Batting (for straps)
- Eyelets (two different sizes)
- Green Webbing
- Brass belt buckles
- Zipper (for inside pocket in the main compartment)
I made my own pattern after drawing inspiration from similar styled backpacks and several backpack tutorials. It took roughly six days to make however I had to wait two weeks for the webbing I ordered for the straps.
